From FiveM to Full Stack

My story

My first lines of code were written during COVID, on my own FiveM server.

During COVID, I had plenty of time to play FiveM: a GTA V platform where players build their own worlds and servers. What started as playing grew into curiosity. I did not just want to take part; I wanted to understand how everything worked. I explored Lua, built my own server and learned the first foundations of programming along the way.

After about two years, I stepped away from coding for a while. Later, during a period when I was unsure which direction to take, my interest in IT kept coming back. Choosing to turn that interest into my studies and work became the best decision I have made. Development is no longer just something I do; it is part of who I am and what gives me energy.

The road so far

From player to builder.

My development did not follow a straight line. Experimenting, taking a step back and choosing again helped me discover what fits me.

  1. 01 · First curiosity

    FiveM & Lua

During COVID, FiveM showed me how exciting it is to not only use a digital world, but to shape one yourself.

  2. 02 · Learning by building

    My own server

My own FiveM server became my first real learning environment. With Lua, I learned the foundations of programming by turning ideas into features, finding mistakes and building further.

  3. 03 · Choosing again

    The step into IT

After a break and a period of searching for direction, I decided to take my interest seriously. I chose IT and found the joy of learning and making again.

  4. 04 · Today & next

    Full Stack, broadly

Today I am growing as a Full Stack Developer. I want to understand how frontend, backend, media design and infrastructure come together in one good product.

How I work

Curious, critical and involved. I want to understand what is needed first, then build and keep refining until it not only works, but feels right.

What drives me

Curious by nature.

I do not want to put myself in one box. I want to understand how things work, make them better and keep growing.

01

Curious

New technologies, systems and ideas catch my attention. I learn best by trying something for real.

02

Perfectionist

I notice details quickly and want a product to feel right — not just on the surface, but in the structure underneath.

03

Versatile

I do not want to know only one part. Software, media design and infrastructure all interest me.

Where I am heading

At home across the stack.

I do not know the exact shape of my future yet, but I do know how I want to be seen: as a Full Stack Developer who understands the whole picture. Someone who can move between interface, logic, data and infrastructure — and keeps looking for ways to make things better.
